If you would like to preorder the Sensory Hood to secure your spot in the first drop of 100 hoods, you have come to the right place! The money collected from preorders will be allocated towards manufacturing the garment.
The Sensory Hood is a modular design that includes a hood and collared vest, connected by magnets. Designed based on lifelong personal experience with anxiety, panic attacks, ADHD, and difficulty related to sensory stimulation, every element has been thought through with explicit intention to fulfill a sensory need.
Made from wax cotton and cotton moleskin fabrics, with a cupro silk-like lining and thin cotton batting fill. Hidden N40 magnets throughout. Natural soybean oil memory foam handles. Not pictured: the main body of the vest piece will have quilted lining. Please note: the blue variation pictured was made by hand, the final product will be manufactured with high quality.
All photos are taken with the size Small / Medium. Vest piece: 12 to 24" across the front waist length (not all the way around), with the adjustable waist straps secured. 18" shoulder to shoulder across the chest front area. Hood piece: 18" high, 15" wide across the bottom. Measurements for size Large / X Large will be provided as soon as possible.
Color note: The Stone colored moleskin fabric for the Blue Sensory Hood has unfortunately been discontinued. We will proceed with Navy Blue moleskin fabric instead. We can also hand dye the fabric with indigo, or choose a different color if you have a strong preference for an additional fee.
Your garment is guaranteed, however, please note the lead time to ship the Sensory Hood is unknown. It is estimated that the garment will be ready by Winter 2025 / 2026. We will update you every step of the way at Instagram.com/psycsensory.
