The Sensory Hood is a modular design that includes a hood and collared vest, connected by magnets. Designed based on lifelong personal experience with anxiety, panic attacks, ADHD, and difficulty related to sensory stimulation, every element has been thought through with explicit intention to fulfill a sensory need.
Made from wax cotton and cotton moleskin fabrics, with a cupro silk-like lining and thin cotton batting fill. Hidden N40 magnets throughout. Natural soybean oil memory foam handles. Quilted lining.
Please refer to the Size Guide for custom measurement guidelines. We will contact you after your order is placed to collect your measurements. We will also ask for your color choice. Please refer to the Color Guide for wax cotton colors available. We also have a lot of scrap material - please consider a multi-color / patchwork style Sensory Hood as an option!
Please note this is a handmade item. While there will be imperfections, the garment will be constructed with great care and diligence for excellent quality and durability through wear.
This garment is handmade after your order is placed. Please note the lead time to ship the made-to-order Sensory Hood is approximately 2 to 6 weeks, also depending if we will need to order additional fabric for your order.
Made-to-order sensory hoods are at a higher price point than manufactured sensory hoods. Your order allows for custom colors and sizes and will be handmade with care. Currently the lead time on a manufactured sensory hood is unknown.
